PEBBLE BEACH CONCOURS 2018 AN OVERVIEW
It feels like only yesterday that we were stood watching the striking 1929 Mercedes-Benz S Type being crowned with the coveted prize of Best in Show at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Fast forward one year and we are approaching the annual highlight of the motoring calendar and 2018 will be a special event, so where can you find us on the Monterey Peninsula, below is a guide to where we can be found:
13th – 22nd August 2018
– Motoring Classic
This year we kick off 2018 Pebble Beach not in San Francisco but in Seattle, working with our sister company E-Type UK we will be undertaken the 1,500-mile drive from Seattle to Pebble Beach.
Driving a 1963 Jaguar E-type from Kirkland, through the Chinook Pass, down to the Crater Lake and then onto Pebble Beach should be the perfect way to begin our Pebble Beach adventure.
23rd August 2018
– Tour d’Elegance
This year we will be lucky enough to be part of the Tour d’Elegance, setting off at 7am on Portola Road in Pebble Beach, the cars will roll into Carmel-by-the-Sea at roughly 11:30am. This represents a great opportunity to see the majority of the cars that will be part of the Concours and also to see the cars from the Motoring Classic.

– Quail Motorsport Gathering
Held at the Quail Lodge & Golf Club this garden party event is held in conjunction with Bonhams and offers the perfect opportunity to not only see the auction but also to enjoy the lavish and laid-back setting of the motorsport gathering.
25th August 2018
– Rolex Motorsport Reunion
What’s better than a day spent at the famous Leguna Seca? A day spent watching some of the most historically significant race cars being thrown through the cork-screw. With nearly 500 races between the 23rd – 26th August, there is plenty of opportunities to get down to what is a great few days of racing and can be enjoyed no matter how long you spend there.

– Concours D’Elegance
For the past four months, the chosen cars have been being prepared for the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The Concours represents an opportunity to walk around some of the rarest and most exclusive cars that may have never been seen before. With thousands of hours spent preparing for this moment, it acts as the fitting end to what promises to be an amazing week.
