This 1971 Datsun 240Z is an outstanding, matching-numbers example that has undergone a sympathetic restoration, completed in 2016 by a respected marque specialist. Originally delivered to the Australian market, this is a genuine factory right-hand drive car now fully registered for UK road use.

Presented in its original specification with subtle, reversible enhancements, this 240Z remains faithful to its period-correct charm. The factory L24 straight-six has been retained and mechanically refreshed, and mated to a later Datsun 5-speed gearbox for improved long-distance drivability. Notably, the original 4-speed transmission is also supplied with the sale.

A Bluetooth-enabled electronic ignition system has been fitted, offering improved reliability while retaining a discreet factory look. The car rides on classic 14” Wolfrace alloys, though the original wheels are also included, should a purist appearance be desired.
